Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Vetzora collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website and to orders placed through it.

What we collect

• Order details - your name, delivery address, phone number and email, plus what you ordered. We cannot deliver without these.
• Account details - if you create an account, your login credentials (passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form) and saved addresses.
• Animal details - if you add pets or livestock to your account, their species, breed, age and weight. Used to suggest correct dosages and reminders.
• Prescriptions - documents you upload for review. These are health records and we treat them as sensitive.
• Technical data - IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and to detect fraud.

Why we use it

To take, verify and deliver your orders; to review prescriptions; to answer your messages; to send order and appointment notifications; to detect fraudulent or abusive orders; and, only if you have opted in, to send marketing email. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Who we share it with

Courier companies receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your parcel. Our email and SMS providers process the messages we send you. Where a consultation takes place, the treating veterinarian sees the animal and case details you provide. Nobody else, unless we are legally required to disclose.

How long we keep it

Order and dispensing records are kept for as long as record-keeping rules for veterinary medicines require. Prescriptions are kept for the same period. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account.

Your choices

You can see and correct most of your data from your account. You can unsubscribe from marketing email from any marketing message, or from your account. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, contact us. We may need to keep dispensing records even after an account is closed, where the law requires it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to customer data inside the business is limited by role: an order processor cannot see prescriptions, and every change to an order is recorded against the staff member who made it.
