Regulatory compliance

How Vetzora handles registered veterinary medicines, record keeping and recalls.

Last updated 14 September 2026

Veterinary medicines in Pakistan are regulated by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). This page sets out how we operate within that framework.

Sourcing

We buy only from licensed distributors and manufacturers, and we record the supplier of every batch we receive. Where a product carries a DRAP registration number, we display it on the product page.

Batch and expiry records

Every unit of medicine we hold belongs to a numbered batch with a recorded expiry date. Stock is picked first-expiry-first-out, and nothing within 60 days of expiry is dispatched to a customer. Expired stock is quarantined and written off rather than sold at a discount.

Traceability and recalls

Because dispatches are recorded against batch numbers, we can identify every customer who received a specific batch. If a manufacturer or DRAP issues a recall, we quarantine remaining stock immediately and contact affected customers directly.

Prescription-only medicines

Products classified as prescription-only are supplied only against a valid prescription reviewed by our pharmacist. See the prescription policy.

Cold chain

Vaccines and biologicals are stored between 2 and 8 C and dispatched in validated insulated packaging from locations equipped to maintain that range.

Reporting a problem

If you believe a product was defective, ineffective, or caused an adverse reaction, tell us with the batch number from the packaging. We record every report, investigate, and escalate to the manufacturer and to DRAP where required.
